Welcome to the NEW MORAN PRESS. Like everyone else in the world, The Covid Pandemic changed everything. It forced me as a small business owner to reimagine every aspect of my process to adjust to the new stark paradigm.

The pandemic cancelled live events for a long while and impacted everything about how small business is done. I re-focused on my core processes and in some cases - completely changed how I did everything. Over a span of the last 18 months, I've learned the process of making HARD COVER BOOKS BY HAND. 

Yes, I can make my own hardcover books by hand. This has been a lifelong goal that somehow got spurred into action by pandemic. Life can move in mysterious ways. 

I spend the last 18 months learning all parts of the bookmaking process - from interior layout and cover design, to sewing the signatures, and gluing covers together. It's been an incredible journey that somehow ended up here - with me handmaking books with my two hands. 

I sew/bind/make these books with warm hugs and coffee, lots of coffee. 

In the next couple days, I'll have information about the first official HARDCOVER EXCLUSIVE TITLE RELEASE from Gabriel Ricard. You'll only be able to get this title as a HAND SEWN HARDCOVER. Be sure to watch for that exciting post.
